Managing Licenses in Eggplant Manager

Eggplant Manager requires a license the first time it is installed. As part of ongoing administration, you might want to view that license, or you might need to add or delete license. You can do so from the Licenses panel of Admin > System Preferences.

Note: Only users with the Administrator role can see and access the Admin menu. From the Licenses panel, you can see the following information: the type of license (Eggplant Manager or Eggplant Automation Cloud), ID, the serial number, the start and end dates, the number of days remaining, and the maximum number of instances (limit).

The Licenses panel also provides buttons for you to add a new license, view an existing license, and remove a license.

New License: This button opens the New License dialog box. Add your new license key in the text field, then click Enter Key.

Note: If you use the Greenhouse web portal to generate licenses, enter the Host ID exactly as it appears in the new license dialog box, below, into the license generator. Note that the Host ID is rendered differently on Mac than on Windows.
