Eggplant Studio Walkthrough

Having installed VS Code and the Eggplant Studio extension for VS Code, you are ready to begin work. But before you get going, why not spend a few moments familiarizing yourself with the following five key areas of Eggplant Studio?

  1. We will start our tour where your Eggplant Studio journey begins, which is to create or open an existing test suite.
  2. After you create or open your test suite, the next step is to connect to your system under test.
  3. For those who are not as familiar with VS Code, we will look briefly at how to open and edit your SenseTalk script.
  4. Eggplant is an image-based test tool. With this in mind, we will learn how to capture images with Eggplant Studio to add to your test script.
  5. In this step, you will learn how to optimize your test results by editing your images.
  6. And lastly, we will cover how to run your test script in Eggplant Studio.
