We’re happy to announce the release of the Sprint 47 edition of Quamotion for Visual Studio. The version number is 0.1.5478.

This release adds experimental support for self-hosting Quamotion on OS X and Linux devices, and includes stability and usability enhancements accross the board.

Self-hosting Quamotion on OS X and Linux devices​

You can now run Quamotion on OS X and Linux devices. When writing and running tests, we support using the following clients:

  • Java
  • C#
  • PowerShell

Stability and usability enhancements​

This release:

  • Fixes an OutOfMemoryException that occurred when many requests were sent to the front-end on the same connection
  • Includes various fixes related to performance and memory consumption
  • Includes fixes for recording of Android applications
