We're happy to announce the release of the Sprint 171 edition of Quamotion. The version number of the current release is 2.2.45. The version number of the LTS release is 2.0.44.

xcuitrunner improvements

• We've fixed an issue where H.264 screen mirroring may not work correctly on Windows in a specific scenario.

WebDriver updates

When we started Quamotion about seven years ago, app automation (which required instrumentation) and web automation (which relies on the browser debugger) were the dominant automation mechanisms.

Since then, both Android and iOS have added support for test automation at the operating system level. As a result, we've seen our customer base shift towards device automation.

Because of this shift, we're deprecating the Web automation functionality in this version of Quamotion WebDriver.
