We are happy to announce Eggplant Gateway 26.1.1 (January 15, 2026). This release of Eggplant Gateway contains the following enhancements and defect fixes:

You may see differences in the exact Eggplant Gateway build listed here and in the version you see installed on your system, or on the Eggplant Functional About panel, for example. The contents of any build of the 26.1.1 version should contain the functionality listed here unless otherwise specified. The build is the number you see to the right of the dash in the version.

Eggplant Gateway for Android​

  • Fixes a particular issue on Android 16.
  • Adds more locking to avoid sending characters in wrong order.

Eggplant Gateway for RDP​

  • Adds support for smart card redirection for RDP connections, enabling secure authentication workflows. (EPF-29828)
  • Adds option to specify color depth for RDP connections.

Eggplant Gateway for Citrix​

  • Fixes a slow mouse movement issue, providing more responsive cursor control. (EPF-29241)
  • Adds support for maximizing Citrix applications when launched, improving the user experience for full-screen workflows. (EPF-29051)

Eggplant Gateway for Sauce Labs​

  • Updates the Appium version to the "latest" for Sauce Labs connections.
  • Fixes an issue where specifying an application would incorrectly include the browser name in the connection. (CRD-1926)
