epgw release 26.3.4
We are happy to announce Eggplant Gateway 26.3.4 (August 27, 2026). This release of Eggplant Gateway contains the following enhancements and defect fixes:
note
You may see differences in the exact Eggplant Gateway build listed here and in the version you see installed on your system, or on the Eggplant Functional About panel, for example. The contents of any build of the 26.3 version should contain the functionality listed here unless otherwise specified. The build is the number you see to the right of the dash in the version.
Eggplant Gateway for Android
- Fixes an issue where the
adb.exehelper process could be left running in the background after the Android connection service, or the gateway process itself, was stopped or terminated unexpectedly.
Eggplant Gateway for iOS
- Improves reliability of mounting the developer disk image on iOS devices, fixing cases where mounting could hang indefinitely or silently report success when it had actually failed.
Eggplant Gateway for RDP
- Fixes an issue where mouse scroll-wheel input and click-and-drag could behave incorrectly during RDP sessions. This issue only observes when the host and SUT machine are both linux based.
- Fixes an issue where capital letters and other Shift-modified characters could be dropped when typing during an RDP session, most noticeable when typing into a PowerShell console. (CRD-2041)
Eggplant Gateway for VNC
- Fixes an issue where running a script against a VNC Windows SUT connection from Eggplant Studio could hang, including when Studio's live viewer and a script shared the same connection, or when the underlying connection failed to establish.
General
- Updates the underlying iOS device driver (go-ios) to version 1.3.2, which includes upstream fixes for a connection deadlock, unbounded memory growth, and dependency security hardening (cryptography and networking libraries).
