epgw release 4.24

We're happy to announce Eggplant Gateway 4.24 (21th Nov 2024)

General improvements

• epgw is not build using dotnet 8

Eggplant Gateway for RDP

• Fixes an issue where log remoteclipboard() return with additional characters.

Eggplant Gateway for Single System

• Included additional configuration in Setup single-system command
  • This will help to improve user experience when connect to Single System SUT via Eggplant Functional, and avoid returning error The connection failed at negotiating security settings.

Persistent Connection Service (PCS)

• Fixes an issue where the EPF connections could not be retrieved. This on computers where the Eggplant.plist file is located under c:\Users\YOUR_USER\Application Data rather than the Windows AppData folder.

Eggplant Gateway for VNC

• Added support to connect to VNC servers, currently limited to RFB protocol version 3.8 using the None or VNC Authentication security provider.

Eggplant Gateway for iOS

• Upgraded the iOS device agent to version 1.0.161. Amongst other, this contains fixes for the XCUITest runner being stuck when a popup is shown on the screen.
• Fixes an isue where an iOS connection fails when there are partiquar installed apps with non-ascii names.
