We're happy to announce Eggplant Gateway 4.24 (21st Nov 2024)

General Improvements

• EPGW is now built using Microsoft .NET 8

Eggplant Gateway for RDP

• Fixes an issue where log remoteclipboard() returned with additional characters.

Eggplant Gateway for Single System

• Included additional configuration in Setup single-system command
  • This will help to improve user experience when connect to Single System SUT via Eggplant Functional, and avoid returning error The connection failed at negotiating security settings.

Persistent Connection Service (PCS)

• Fixes an issue where the EPF connections could not be retrieved. This on computers where the Eggplant.plist file is located under c:\Users\YOUR_USER\Application Data rather than the Windows AppData folder.

Eggplant Gateway for VNC

• Adds support for connecting to VNC servers. This support is currently limited to RFB (remote framebuffer) protocol version 3.8 using the None or VNC Authentication security provider.

Eggplant Gateway for iOS

• Upgrades the iOS device agent to version 1.0.161. These upgrades include fixes for the XCUITest runer being stuck when a pop-up is shown on the screen.
• Fixes an issue where an iOS connection fails when there are particular apps installed with non-ascii names.
