epgw release 4.6

We're happy to announce Eggplant Gateway 4.6 (15 March 2024).

Persistent Connection Service (PCS)

• Allow multiple connections to start simultaneously.
• Reduce the number of password popups when launching connections on MacOS
• Handle delete of running connection.
• Allow RDP connections with default screen size
• Fix issue where RDP port number is not processed correctly

Eggplant Gateway for Sauce Labs

• Do not fail on disconnect.

Eggplant Gateway for iOS

• Add library to set iOS developer mode.
• Better error message when device is not truted.

Eggplant Gateway for Single System

• This epgw version adds a new connection type: Single System. A Single System connection allows to connect, control and test on the same Windows machine from where the test is running.

The following features are available:

• A command to enable Single System connections: setup single-system
• A command to add a Single System connection: add single-system
• Launch a Single System connection to establish connection to your local client machine.
• Support Mouse events triggering from Eggplant Functional test script using sensetalk command.
• Support Keyboard events triggering from Eggplant Functional test script using sentalk command.
• Support Clipboard events triggering from Eggplant Functional test script using sentalk command.

This release is tested on a client machine with Windows 64 bit operating system.

The Single System is only supported on Windows and requires the 64 bit epgw build.
