epgw release 25.2.2

We are happy to announce Eggplant Gateway 25.2.2 (February 27, 2025). This release of Eggplant Gateway contains the following enhancements and defect fixes.

General Improvements​

  • Fixes a momentary “hang” when interacting with SUTs in the EPF SUT window.

Persistent Connection Service (PCS)​

  • Exposes --username and --password cli arguments.

Eggplant Gateway for Sauce Labs Devices​

  • Allows you to inject images to simulate taking a picture through your mobile app.
  • Supports Displayed and Selected element attributes.

Eggplant Gateway for Screenshots​

  • Adds a connection type for jpeg images.

Eggplant Gateway for iOS​

  • Makes iOS tunnel processes persistent over connections.
  • Improves swipe consistency when WebDriver is connected.

Eggplant Gateway for Appium​

  • Adds resiliency for appium-xcuitest-driver empty timeout responses.

Eggplant Gateway for Single System Connection​

  • Adds --scale option setting from epgw CLI for Single System connection.
