TCP/UDP Recorder Options

The Eggplant Performance TCP/UDP Recorder creates a TCP/UDP recording for use with TCP/UDP C++ virtual users. It analyzes the network traffic passing between a client and a server by analyzing the network traffic passing through a network card.

The Eggplant Performance TCP/UDP Recorder cannot be used to record encrypted protocols such as HTTPS.

In addition to the Eggplant Performance TCP/UDP recording it produces an ethernet-level text recording that also decodes TCP/IP and other recognized protocols. It also records non-HTTP traffic that might be concurrent with the web traffic.
