Keyword​

(Added to SenseTalk in 1.67)

A variable's format may be set to hexadecimal or hex to cause it to display in hexadecimal format.

Examples:

put (9+4) as hex -—> 0xD
put 13 into codeNum
set codeNum's format to "hexadecimal"
put codeNum -—> 0xD
add 2 to codeNum
put codeNum -—> 0xF

Pattern Element Type​

(Added in SenseTalk 2.37)

Within the SenseTalk Pattern Language, a pattern element defined using hexadecimal digits or hex digits will match the specified hexadecimal digits from 0 to 9 or A to F or a to f.
