Using Citrix ICA Files

Connecting using Citrix StoreFront is the more common way to connect. Using an ICA file is only applicable if your Citrix administrator has specifically given you an ICA file.

It is not usually necessary to use a Citrix ICA file as you can supply all the required connection information and Citrix properties in the connect dialog when recording and these are then included in the generated scripts.
